  • "You," "Your," "Traveler" refers to any individual or entity using our services or booking travel through our agency.
  • "Travel Provider" refers to airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, car rental companies, and other suppliers of travel services.
  • "Booking" refers to any reservation, purchase, or arrangement made through Piccola Travel for travel services.
  • "Services" refers to all travel planning, booking, consultation, and related services provided by Piccola Travel.
  • "Platform" refers to our website, mobile applications, and any other digital or physical means through which we provide services.

2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Piccola Travel, including but not limited to:

  • Travel consultation and itinerary planning
  • Booking of flights, accommodations, cruises, tours, and transportation
  • Travel insurance arrangements
  • Group travel coordination
  • Corporate travel management
  • Any other travel-related services offered by our agency

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Piccola Travel, LLC.

3. Eligibility

By using our services, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • All information you provide to us is accurate, complete, and current
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing travel
  • You are not prohibited from receiving services under applicable laws

Minors must be accompanied by an adult traveler or have written consent from a parent or legal guardian to use our services.

4. Other Travelers

When booking on behalf of other travelers, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have obtained all necessary consents and authorizations from each traveler
  • You have provided accurate information for all travelers
  • You are authorized to accept these Terms on behalf of all travelers in your party
  • You will inform all travelers of these Terms and any applicable Travel Provider rules

You remain fully responsible for ensuring all travelers comply with these Terms and any travel requirements.

5. Account

Certain services may require you to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach
  • Providing accurate and complete registration information
  • Keeping your contact information current

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or remain inactive for extended periods.

6. Travel Provider Rules and Restrictions

All bookings are subject to the rules, restrictions, and terms of the applicable Travel Providers, including but not limited to:

  • Airline ticketing rules, fare conditions, and baggage policies
  • Hotel cancellation policies and check-in requirements
  • Cruise line terms and conditions
  • Tour operator participation requirements
  • Car rental age restrictions and insurance requirements
  • Visa and documentation requirements

You are responsible for reviewing and complying with all Travel Provider rules before completing any booking. Piccola Travel acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for Travel Provider policies or service delivery.

Are booking deposits with Piccola Travel refundable?

Deposit and rate refundability are determined entirely by the individual Travel Provider's Rules and Restrictions. Review specific supplier terms prior to payment confirmation.

7. Booking Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed upon:

  • Receipt of full payment or required deposit as specified
  • Issuance of a confirmation number or booking reference
  • Confirmation email sent to the address provided

Until confirmation is received, no contract exists between you and the Travel Provider. Prices are subject to change until full payment is received and confirmed.

8. Prices

All prices quoted are:

  • Subject to availability and change until confirmed
  • Quoted in US Dollars unless otherwise specified
  • Per person based on double occupancy unless noted
  • Subject to additional taxes, fees, and surcharges

Price quotes are valid for a limited time only. We are not responsible for pricing errors made by Travel Providers. Final prices will be confirmed at the time of booking.

9. Payments

Payment terms are as follows:

  • Full payment or required deposit must be received to confirm bookings
  • Accepted payment methods include major credit cards, debit cards, wire transfers, and checks (subject to clearance)
  • Final payment deadlines vary by Travel Provider and will be communicated at booking
  • Failure to make timely payments may result in cancellation and forfeiture of deposits
  • All payment processing fees are non-refundable

We utilize secure payment processors. However, you are responsible for any charges, fees, or currency conversion costs imposed by your financial institution.

10. Deposits

Deposit requirements vary by Travel Provider and booking type:

  • Deposits are typically required to secure reservations
  • Deposit amounts are determined by Travel Provider policies
  • Deposits may be non-refundable or partially refundable based on Travel Provider terms
  • Deposit credits may not be transferable between bookings

Your booking confirmation will specify the exact deposit terms applicable to your reservation.

11. Taxes and Fees

Quoted prices may not include all applicable taxes and fees:

  • Government taxes and tourism fees vary by destination
  • Resort fees, destination fees, and facility charges may apply
  • Airline baggage fees, seat selection fees, and other ancillary charges are typically additional
  • Currency exchange rates may affect final charges for international bookings

We will provide estimates of additional taxes and fees, but final amounts are determined by Travel Providers and government authorities.

12. Changes and Cancellations by You

Change and cancellation policies are governed by Travel Provider rules:

  • All change requests are subject to availability and Travel Provider approval
  • Change fees may apply and vary by provider
  • Cancellation penalties are determined by Travel Provider policies and timing
  • Some bookings may be completely non-refundable
  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unforeseen circumstances

Piccola Travel may charge additional service fees for processing changes or cancellations. These fees are separate from Travel Provider penalties.

13. Changes by Suppliers

Travel Providers reserve the right to modify bookings:

  • Schedule changes, including flight times and routing modifications
  • Equipment substitutions (aircraft, vessel, or vehicle changes)
  • Accommodation changes due to overbooking or property issues
  • Itinerary modifications due to operational requirements
  • Cancellations due to insufficient demand or operational issues

When Travel Providers make changes, we will attempt to notify you promptly and explore available alternatives. Travel Provider remedies for such changes are governed by their specific policies and applicable regulations.

What happens if an airline changes or cancels my flight routing?

Travel Providers control schedules and operations. Piccola Travel acts as an intermediary to assist with rebooking options, but final policy resolutions are governed directly by the operating carrier.

14. Refunds

Refund policies are as follows:

  • All refunds are subject to Travel Provider policies and timing
  • Refund processing times vary and may take 8-12 weeks or longer
  • Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment unless otherwise arranged
  • Non-refundable components (travel insurance, certain fees) will not be refunded
  • Piccola Travel service fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified

We will process refund requests promptly but cannot guarantee timelines as refunds depend on Travel Provider processing.

15. Travel-Specific Terms

A. Air Travel

Airline tickets are subject to carrier terms, including baggage policies, check-in requirements, and passenger behavior standards. Name corrections and changes may incur fees or require ticket reissue.

B. Hotels and Accommodations

Hotel bookings are subject to property-specific policies regarding check-in/check-out times, occupancy limits, deposit requirements, and cancellation terms. Room categories are subject to availability.

C. Cruises

Cruise bookings are governed by cruise line passenger contracts, which include specific terms regarding boarding requirements, itinerary changes, medical facilities, and conduct policies.

D. Car Rentals

Car rentals require valid driver's licenses, credit cards for security deposits, and compliance with age and insurance requirements. Additional driver fees and equipment rentals may apply.

E. Tours and Activities

Guided tours and activities may have physical fitness requirements, age restrictions, and group size limitations. Cancellation policies vary by operator.

F. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance products are governed by specific policy terms, coverage limits, and claim procedures. Pre-existing condition waivers may require timely purchase.

16. International Entry Requirements

You are solely responsible for:

  • Obtaining and maintaining valid passports with adequate validity beyond your return date
  • Securing required visas, permits, and travel authorizations
  • Complying with health requirements, including vaccinations and medical clearances
  • Meeting entry and transit requirements for all countries on your itinerary
  • Understanding customs regulations and restrictions

Failure to meet entry requirements may result in denied boarding or entry without refund. Piccola Travel provides information as a courtesy but cannot guarantee accuracy as requirements change frequently.

Is a US passport required for international travel packages?

Yes, a valid US passport is mandatory for all international travel. Travelers are solely responsible for securing required entry visas, health declarations, and meeting transit state guidelines before departure.

17. Special Requests

Special requests (dietary needs, accessibility accommodations, room preferences, etc.) are:

  • Submitted to Travel Providers but cannot be guaranteed
  • Subject to availability and provider capabilities
  • May incur additional charges
  • Should be communicated at booking, not at check-in

While we make every effort to accommodate special requests, Travel Providers determine actual fulfillment.

18. Our Role and Limitations as Intermediary

Piccola Travel acts as an intermediary between you and Travel Providers:

  • We facilitate bookings but do not own, operate, or control Travel Provider services
  • We are not liable for Travel Provider actions, omissions, or service quality
  • Disputes regarding service delivery are between you and the Travel Provider
  • We provide information based on Travel Provider representations but cannot verify all details
  • We charge service fees for our planning and coordination services

Our liability is limited to the fees we charge for our services, except where prohibited by law.

19. Disclaimer

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • All travel services are provided "AS IS" by Travel Providers
  • We make no warranties regarding Travel Provider services, including merchantability or fitness for purpose
  • Information provided is for reference only and may change without notice
  • Travel involves inherent risks that you assume by booking
  • We are not responsible for travel disruptions, delays, or cancellations beyond our control

20. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL PICCOLA TRAVEL BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Lost profits, lost revenue, or lost travel opportunities
  • Personal injury, property damage, or emotional distress (except where caused by our gross negligence)
  • Acts, errors, or omissions of Travel Providers
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid to us for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.

21. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, severe weather, or acts of God
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government actions
  • Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies
  • Strikes, labor disputes, or transportation failures
  • Technical failures or internet outages

During force majeure events, we will work with Travel Providers to seek remedies available under their policies and applicable law, but cannot guarantee recovery.

22. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Piccola Travel, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including Travel Provider terms
  • Your misuse of our services
  • Your negligent or wrongful conduct

23. User Content

By submitting reviews, feedback, or other content:

  • You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such content
  • You represent that you own or have rights to the content submitted
  • You agree not to submit false, misleading, or defamatory content
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms

24. Intellectual Property

All content on our Platform is owned by or licensed to Piccola Travel:

  • Logos, trademarks, and service marks are our exclusive property
  • Website content, graphics, and software are protected by copyright
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
  • Travel Provider trademarks belong to their respective owners

25. Artificial Intelligence

Our services may incorporate AI-powered tools for:

  • Travel recommendations and itinerary suggestions
  • Customer service automation
  • Content generation and personalization

AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and should be verified before making travel decisions. We are not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated recommendations.

30. Disputes

In the event of a dispute:

  • Class action waiver: disputes must be brought individually
  • Statute of limitations: claims must be brought within one year of the event

31. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely matches the intent of the original.

32. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any booking confirmations, constitute the entire agreement between you and Piccola Travel regarding your use of our services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
